(Automotive) I bought a used black Featherlite enclosed trailer. It had been sitting outside for 14 years. The paint was heavily ozidized and I tried every polish I had and nothing would work to make it look new again. That is until, I found an old red can of Turtle Wax Color Back. It made the trailer side shine like a mirror. I ran out after one side of the trailer and looked hard to find more of the color back polish. I found it here and purchased three bottles. I received it quickly and tried it on the other side and rear of the trailer. It didn't work nearly as well as the original bottle I had. My son and I have rubbed and rubbed and it has never reached the level of lustre that the we achieved with the original bottle. (Automotive) I used this on a green car, and if you've been paying attention, green and red are always the most trashed by the sun/elements...I started out with rubbing compound--which is the harshest, so you know how bad this paint was. It's damaged to the point of the clearcoat turning white and flaking off. Rather than get a junky $1,000 paint job, or spending $2,000+ for a decent paint job, I used this as a stop gap since the car was just pretty much a weekend vehicle for offroading. (not totally trashed though, the leather seats are pretty much perfect for a 20 year old car, and mechanically pretty solid) I didn't expect it to look as good as the before/after on the bottle, every car is different... The rubbing compound made it look a bit better--in that it evened things out a bit and took off some bad oxidation. However there wasn't really any shine to it.
