(Automotive) After much debate between Meguiar's NXT wash and The Turtle Wax ICE wash, I opted for the ICE wash. I picked it up for about 6.00.The wash is a nice, thick liquid. It pours well, and mixes into a pleasant smelling mixture with a nice thick head of foam. As for its performance, I couldn't be happier. I had not washed the car in quite sometime and it had lots of dust, dirt, tree fallout etc. The ICE wash made quick work out of the mess, and rinsed of easily as well. After some hand drying and some time to sit, it dried to a pleasant shine. Overall I was extremely happy with the performance, and would recommend this product to anyone. I followed it up with a nice polishing with the ICE polish liquid, and topped it off with a nice coat of Turtle Wax Platinum Paste Wax. (Automotive) Tried it for the first time yesterday on a Mustang GT. Very pleasant smelling, reasonably priced, actually does its job and removed all dirt, sap, bugs etc from the car. At the end, it actually dried on its own very quickly (except for windows--it did leave waterspots there--yay "Invisible Glass") without leaving any waterspots. I used this Ice Car Wash once and only once (last summer) and I STILL have filmy residue all over my (formerly beautiful, sparkling slate gray) Honda Accord that I can't get rid of. I blame the Ice Car Wash ENTIRELY. I have been through countless car washes, have tried scrubbing it myself, and the residue will not go away. I am extremely disappointed in this product, and I would NOT recommend to anyone EVER! |
