The scratches weren't very deep but they were highly visible on the paprika red Subaru. They were two to three ft long. I simply traced along the marks with the clearcoat pen. The result was so good, I didn't even bother following it with the included polishing and paint clarifying compound. It worked ok just with the paint pen for the light part of the scratch but not so much for the deeper part. When I tried to smooth it out following the instructions it left a dull patch around the scratch. In my opinion it looked better with the scratch instead of the dull spot with a visibly filled in scratch. |
