Stoner 91036 Trim Shine Vinyl and Plastic Coating - 12 oz. Reviews 5 of 5 people found the following review helpful Incredible. Absolutely incredible....with a catch., Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Stoner 91036 Trim Shine Vinyl and Plastic Coating - 12 oz. (Automotive) I was unable to find Stoner Trim Shine in any of the auto-parts stores in my area so I went ahead and ordered a can from Amazon. We have a 2001 Jeep Cherokee Sport with bumpers and side plastic trim that had faded to a dull, flat gray color. I went ahead and masked off any of the paint on the vehicle that I didn't want to get Trim Shine on and sprayed away. I don't know how it works but it made our faded, scuffed plastic bumpers and side trim turn a nice semi-gloss black. (Automotive) Looked GREAT........................ for about 3.5 weeks... I did drive about 3500 miles in that time, but by the end of 4 weeks it looked exactly like it did before. I'm about to try some stuff called Bumper & Cladding Coat PERMA SHINE.. Anyone know if it's any good? As for this stuff here, don't waste your time, it's not the answer to the never ending quest to restore faded plastic on Xterras, that's for sure. Gave it a 3 cause yeah, it did work, just not for long..... maybe if I had used like 2 cans on each part? I dunno.... 3 of 3 people found the following review helpful Stoners Trim Shine, Being a caf finatic I have used every kind, type, brand of car detailing chemical and when it comes to trim NOBODY comes close to this. It is easy to use not a runny liquid like some and works great . I am surprised Mothers,Meguiars and even Surf City have not come close to this product. |
